Hi, my name is Evvy, and I am the Marketing Director at TruVet. I bring a background in marketing, social media, and the arts to a role that lets me combine my love of creativity with a genuine passion for animal care.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
My hobbies feel less like hobbies and more like secret identities — whether it is decorating shoes, singing a melody, or writing a novel, I can be found where the sidewalk ends writing a new chapter. My husband is a personal trainer in Sonoma County, and we share our home with Gidget, a Cairn Terrier/Yorkie mix, and Marcelline, our calico cat.
Favorite Part of My Job
The most inspiring part of my job is seeing the individuals on our staff go above and beyond to provide compassionate care for each patient. Whether it is our first case of the day or the thirtieth, this is an environment built on mutual motivation to make every animal feel cared for while in our hospital.
Why I Chose This Profession
My passion for the arts and my love for animals may seem like an unlikely combination, but at TruVet they come together beautifully. I was drawn to this team because of the heart behind everything they do — and I knew I could use my creative skills to help tell that story.
Education
I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy).
Professional Background
My professional background spans marketing, social media management, performing arts, and client services. Outside of TruVet, I teach voice lessons and serve as choreographer and music director for North Bay Theatrics.
Work History
I bring a lengthy background in marketing and social media management to TruVet, where I joined the team as a Client Service Representative before stepping into the Marketing Director role.
