The entire staff at TruVet are the most incredible team! You won’t find any better place than this, it is by far the top! They treated my puppy on a very complex and challenging case for conditions that developed very quickly and they had an entire team overseeing her in critical care, around the clock. They welcomed me to go back into the intensive care area to visit my girl ‘Dally’ under treatment. Their intake staff gal was also superb, she was compassionate, honest and very attentive. They were ALL so knowledgeable, professional and supportive and also very compassionate and to the point as they worked through the process of navigating her very unique and unfortunately fatal condition. They were clear with communication providing daily updates and offering their availability around the clock with any questions or concerns or status updates while she was under their care. I trusted their service 100%, no questions asked and relied on them to make appropriate decisions and they did just that. The two veterinarians who cared for her performed every exam and test to determine her illness and really put their all into this case. As the daughter of a veterinarian myself, I have high expectations of veterinary care and they exceeded my expectations. Their facility is also 10/10! Truly the best, all around!
A friend, Vet tech, referred us to Dr. Kim Tong at TruVet. We were at the brink of losing our beloved 13 year old dog. Dr. Tong was able to accommodate us the same day. We did not think we could afford TruVet as a specialty hospital. We agreed to just get his opinion. He was so confident that he could treat her successfully, we had some hope of saving her but how could we find enough money or credit to pay them. TruVet was able to come up with an affordable plan so we left her with them. A few hours later, we took her home. Almost immediately we could see improvement. Every day she is better. She still has a way to go but, she played this morning wagging her tail begging for food and treats!!! Thank you, Dr.Tong and TruVet for caring and understanding; and most of all, your expertise in surgical care for our dog!!!
TruVet is very out-of-the-way for me, but I'm so glad I made the trip when I had an emergency. My dog was an inpatient for nearly 3 days, so he saw several doctors. I liked and trusted each one I talked to. The tech staff is amazing. Every single one I met treated my pup and me both with the utmost courtesy, and were both friendly and professional while doing so. We left happier, healthier, and well-informed. I not only recommend them, but may be taking all future specialty needs and emergencies out of town. They saw the problem and provided excellent care when other vets tried to convince me he was completely fine.
Dr. Kruger - where to begin? She is compassionate, kind, and has helped our dog live his best life through her phenomenal care and support. I have never had a pet with so many serious medical issues, but I've also never felt so confident in the care he received as I do with Dr. Kruger. She is truly special and she changes peoples' and animals' lives for the better daily. I am so thankful that we have met her and that we have the privilege of having her as our pets' doctors. I hope she knows how loved she is! It's wonderful to know that Truvet exists and that I can count on you to help me help my pets!
I feel that I was provided with the best care possible. From arriving at the front desk to leaving with my kitty, the staff was extremely kind, communicative & caring. Dr. Marcus went above and beyond explaining things in a way that I understood and I felt both comfortable and confident with him caring for my kitty❤️.
I brought my pug in around 9pm after I found he was not opening his eye. They immediately took him back to be seen while I finished checking in. The front desk person was great, she checked in with me to give me updates while I was there and was really kind. They found he had a small ulcer on his eye and gave me eye drops to use. By the next day his eye was so much better already. Day 3, his eye is completely clear again!
All of the vets and vet assistants were incredibly nice and thorough regarding Millie's care. Unfortunately, we have had three recent visits (one pet died, one had an accident and required surgery, and this recent trip-due to bloody stool). Each visit was met with understanding staff. Thank you TruVet employees all around. Overnight male nurse was compassionate and caring towards Millie. What I appreciated most is the kind and caring staff.
I find it to be exceptional on many levels. I always leave my appointments with a thorough understanding of what my pets needs are and how I am to care for her. The staff is always well informed, kind, and compassionate. All of them from each department, what a great staff. What I appreciated most is quality of care and compassionate staff.
Fantastic care and communication from staff. All questions answered and I felt good trusting them with my pets health. Every staff member I had contact with was professional as was the doctor. Prices were reasonable and care is well worth the price. What I appreciated most is Dr. Tong.
I can’t say enough good things about TruVet Emergency Veterinary Hospital. At this point, I feel like I should have a VIP membership—my two Pomeranians keep me there often enough to justify it. Every single visit, the doctors are calm, patient, and genuinely informative. They take the time to explain what’s happening, what they’re concerned about, and what options make sense without rushing or talking down to you. The level of care is exceptional, and I have complete trust in the medical judgment and compassion of the entire team. Because TruVet is an emergency hospital, the most critical patients are always seen first, understandably. That does mean there can be long waits at times, as with any emergency vet. My advice: come prepared to make yourself comfortable, bring a book, a laptop, a phone charger, and some snacks. If you do that, the wait is much more manageable. That said, I’ve also had visits where I was seen by a doctor almost immediately. It really depends on what else is happening in the ER at the time. If you want skilled, compassionate, calm emergency care and doctors who truly care about both pets and their humans TruVet Petaluma is outstanding. I’m deeply grateful they’re here.
I could not be more grateful or impressed with the service at TruVet in Petaluma. The customer service was outstanding and they understood our needs. The service was over delivered and we were not subjected to long wait times. Very very happy we went to TruVet thank you for taking such good care of my furbaby!!!!
