Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I love snowboarding, diving into video game quests, weightlifting, and boxing. Whether on the slopes or in the gym, I am always up for an adventure.
Favorite Part of My Job
The most inspiring part of my job is being right there in the action, helping to save the lives of our furry patients. My journey from caring for our elderly community to caring for animals is filled with heart, dedication, and a whole lot of passion.
Why I Chose This Profession
Growing up helping care for others gave me a deep appreciation for compassionate, hands-on work. When I discovered veterinary medicine, I knew it was the right next chapter — a field where I could bring that same dedication and care to animals in need.
Education
I graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 2016 and recently earned my veterinary technician certificate from SRJC in 2024. I am currently working towards obtaining my RVT licence.
Professional Background
My background in elder care gave me a strong foundation in compassionate, attentive caregiving — skills that translate directly to working with animals and their families. I moved to the US from the Philippines at age 13 and am fluent in both Tagalog and English.
Work History
Before entering the veterinary world, I gained experience caring for the elderly through my parents' care homes. TruVet represents my first role in veterinary medicine, and I have embraced it wholeheartedly.
