Advanced Therapies We Offer
Cold Laser Therapy
Cold laser therapy uses targeted light energy to stimulate cellular healing, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation. This noninvasive treatment can help decrease pain and accelerate tissue repair following surgery or injury. Sessions are comfortable, well tolerated, and require no sedation.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections
PRP therapy uses a concentrated portion of your pet's own blood to promote healing in injured tissues. After processing the blood sample, the platelet-rich plasma is injected into the affected joint or tissue to support regeneration and reduce inflammation.
PRP is commonly used for ligament injuries, joint disease, and chronic inflammatory conditions.
Arthramid Injections
Arthramid is a long-lasting intra-articular injection used to manage osteoarthritis in dogs. This hydrogel treatment supports joint cushioning and stability, helping reduce pain and improve mobility over time.
Arthramid may be recommended for pets with chronic arthritis who require additional support beyond oral medications.

Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Kim Tong, originally from San Francisco, CA, discovered his passion for veterinary medicine through a transformative experience volunteering at an animal ER in San Diego during his undergraduate years. Despite not growing up with animals or pets, he embraced this newfound calling wholeheartedly and embarked on a rewarding journey in veterinary surgery.
Dr. Tong obtained his board certification in 2016 and has since dedicated his expertise to serving the Bay Area community. His commitment to excellence extends to his specialized training in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy, arthroscopy, orthopedics), Total Hip Replacement, neurosurgery, and advanced orthopedics.
In his pain management and rehabilitation practice, Dr. Tong incorporates cold laser therapy as a key component of post-surgical and chronic pain care. Cold laser treatments are routinely used alongside surgical recovery plans to help patients regain mobility more quickly, reduce dependence on medications, and improve overall comfort — particularly in orthopedic cases such as TPLO recovery and joint disease management.

If Your Pet Requires Hospitalization
Most rehabilitation treatments are performed on an outpatient basis. If your pet requires monitoring or additional care, our hospital provides 24-hour supervision and coordinated communication.
